Flight of Beauty

The project describes well-known designers (Vivienne Westwood, John Galliano, Tom Ford, Donatella Versace, Karl Lagerfeld), located in beauty salons. Each of them in appearance (or near) you can find various objects resembling a galactic outfit of an astronaut or an alien. The unusualness of the images is enhanced by hairdressing equipment, such as hair dryers, hair curlers, foil, face masks, clippers, and highlights. In all is visible the allegory of the flight into beauty and the flight into space. People never know exactly the final result when visiting a beauty salon (similarly - a flight into space). After all, any unplanned chemical reaction can occur on their head! But while the customers are waiting for time with applied preparations on the head, they seem to be in a “suspended” state, such as in cosmic weightlessness. Famous designers are not taken by chance, because they manipulate fashion and style. Hair, as we know, is the nerve endings of the head, then perhaps the state of flight into the unknown in the situations depicted in the project, is driving in determining new trends in fashion and art.
