«The Serie «Serenity» consists of 19 collages of different sizes ranging from 90x90 up to 150x100. Here the artist talks about the incompatibility of the environment and the object. The name of project reminds a typical name of a Mediterranean Megayacht. It tells about the qualities of people that originate from the animal world. The artist shows the strong characters through material embodiment of the animals. For this serie, Daria chose Lions, Tigers, Panthers and Leopards, as they are associated with the kings of the earth.
«I move them into a specific context» in the Côte d'Azur and the Principality of Monaco, Hawaii, NY. Just as in all the artist's works the meaning is shown through the technique of collage Pieces Art. Glossy magazines as an artifact of our times are the artist’s palette. The main objective is to attract the viewer into the inner world of the collage, make him read the secret meaning in the details.
The works of the artist remind puzzles, which are impossible to be fully solved, as they raise the question of the essence of life. The artist speaks of deceptive appearances, its hidden mystery, which we usually do not see».
